How does he sleep at night? How does he sit down without a chair? How does he clean out his engines? Is there blood at the base? Can he get an infection if someone coughs near them? Is the fuel in his blood? Is blood his fuel? Can he get blood draws and IVs through his engines? Are there physical engines under his skin? If they were surgically removed, would he be considered to have a Quirk anymore? Would they grow back? If he had frequent calf surgeries, could he sell unlimited, organically-grown engines?
It’s so ugly though. Like one of my biggest pet peeves with BNHA is that a lot of the quirks just manifest in the ugliest way. The Flash has existed for almost 80 years now and none of the writers had to justify his speed with “well he’s got a engine block where his taint should be”
