cryptid-wendigo:

A man by the name of

Gene St. Denis had not only one, but two encounters with Lake Tahoe’s legendary Tahoe Tessie. The first encounter was in 1982, where he and a friend of his supposedly witnessed “a  blotchy gray creature about 10 to 15 feet in length” while they were looking out at the lake. When he witnessed it the second time, he claimed it was 16 feet long. He felt what he described as “a large explosion” under him as he swam over a hole in the bottom of the lake. Upon looking down, he claimed to have seen the creature.
